We are happy to invite you to the second of five webinars organized by Informal Educational Group SZTAMA, the laureate of the second edition of the WzmocniONE Program, in partnership with Ashoka Poland!
Our webinars will feature international experts on masculinity, engaging men in anti-violence activities and working with men and boys. You will have a chance to learn about good practices, important experiences and standards that our guests implement in their communities in other countries and continents.
During this webinar, you will learn more about the different ways men can be involved in the movement against violence against women. It will be narrated by Ashoka Fellow Dean Peacock.
Dean has spent the past three decades working in South Africa, Africa, the Americas and around the world to prevent violence, promote peace, gender equality and human rights. He is currently the director of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, a multinational initiative to mobilize men for feminist peace. He is the co-founder and former executive director of Sonke Gender Justice, an award-winning South African NGO working in twenty-five African countries, and the co-founder and former co-chair of MenEngage Alliance, now working in over seventy countries around the world.
The webinar will be facilitated by Martyna Markiewicz from Ashoka Poland
The webinar will be held in English with simultaneous translation to Polish. Polish translation and the possibility of asking questions will be available only on Zoom, after registration.
