Our Community
The Ashoka UK & Ireland Community brings together individuals at different points in their changemaker journey. Ashoka Fellows are leading social entrepreneurs whose new ideas are already reshaping systems. Ashoka young changemakers are 13–26 year-olds leading initiatives in their schools and communities, proving that changemaking is a skill that can start at any age.
Our community, which also includes our staff, partners, donors and many more people who believe in the power of changemaking, creates space for everyone to find a sense of contribution and belonging.
Ashoka Fellows are leading social entrepreneurs with new, systems-changing solutions to some of society's toughest problems. They're not simply running successful projects — they've identified a fundamentally new approach to a social or environmental issue, one with the potential to shift an entire field.
GenC is Ashoka's network of young changemakers aged 13–26 from across the UK & Ireland. They are students and young people who have already founded or co-founded initiatives tackling issues they care about, from mental health and climate to inclusion and education.
Ashoka's network of Changemaker Schools align around a shared vision: to empower children and young people to be socially minded leaders, with the connection to purpose that enables them to effectively solve problems and drive positive change.
Ashoka Support Network (ASN) is a global community of committed leaders who share, support, and advocate for Ashoka’s values and vision, whilst unleashing their own potential as changemakers. ASN members provide Ashoka with financial support while lending Fellows their time and expertise.
