This is an invitation for Ashoka Fellows to join our next online gathering for changemakers transforming systems worldwide. This 1-hour session will focus on AI and Health: exploring how AI is being applied in healthcare and health innovation, the opportunities for improving health outcomes and access, and the ethical questions and barriers to adoption within health systems.
During the session, you will hear from Ashoka Fellow Krystian Fikert, whose work through MyMind has created a movement for affordable, community-based, and preventative mental health care. Together, we will look at trust, accountability, equity, and community agency in AI-enabled healthcare, and at the key considerations for health innovators as AI becomes increasingly embedded in health systems. After the moderated conversation, the floor will open for Q&A and peer exchange among Fellows across geographies.

Central to Ashoka's approach in identifying new health Fellows, partnering with health actors, and driving paradigm shifts in the health system is the notion of Health Agency.
Health Agency is achieved when individuals, with their communities, can lead, direct, and contribute to their own health journeys and those of others.
