Swiss Changemakers Program

SCM pane picture

The Swiss Changemakers program was founded by Ashoka in 2015 and is supported by the Trafigura Foundation and UBS. It selects and connects leading Swiss innovators who have a proven track record for driving exciting social ventures in Switzerland and fostering a more entrepreneurial movement within its social sector.

The Swiss Changemakers gathered in four cities in 2015 to share their experiences working with four topics where they are changing the framework that people use to perceive and engage these issues. They were challenged by peers and experts, worked on rethinking their models, and investigated collaborations.

Quotes from the Changemakers

“All in all, I felt encouraged through the program and through the energy and creativity of this group of entrepreneurs to continue my work with confidence.  Thank you for this enriching experience!”

“I got to meet fellow social entrepreneurs and discuss with them. It gave me new perspectives on my work, started new potential collaborations, and created lasting relationships where we can help each other. Some experts gave me some interesting insights and have opened doors for me.“

“The common search for solutions during the Swiss Changemakers program made the search easier and playful – together we found more solutions.”
