It has been an exciting couple of months for Charles Best, founder and CEO of Donorschoose.org. In August, his organization, which matches donors with public school classroom projects across the country, received a check for $1.3 million to cover all project wishes in the state of California. More recently, his organization has gotten a boost from moviegoers, who receive a $15 gift card to Donorschoose for each ticket they purchase to see the buzzed-about documentary Waiting for Superman.
