Recently, the Kauffman Foundation ranked Atlanta as a top 10 US city for entrepreneurial activity, Forbes named it one of the best cities for female founders (1/3 of businesses are owned by women) and PCWorld proclaimed it one of America’s most tech-friendly cities. And Invest Atlanta and Startup Atlanta, ventures of the mayor’s office, help entrepreneurs navigate the startup scene and raise funding. Since our goal is to share more stories from changemakers across the US and to ensure that a culture of changemaking takes root far and wide - across all America - we decided to visit this innovative city and learn first-hand about its changemaking culture. We were not disappointed!
