Helping people all over the world to provide access to affordable medicines. That is what Joost van Engen is doing with his company Healthy Entrepreneurs, which is growing rapidly. Ashoka and the Philips Foundation, supported this social entrepreneur’s mission, by helping to increase the number to 10,000 newly trained healthcare professionals who can provide access to healthcare for more than 20,000 people per day.
