With COP26 just around the corner, we’ve been seeing a huge number of commitments from companies to reduce their carbon emissions to ‘net zero.’ This is relatively new territory without many blueprints to follow. More importantly, there are still few incentives or enforcement mechanisms to keep well-intentioned companies on track and others on board.
Join us on October 6, as we hear from Ashoka Fellow James Thornton, founder of ClientEarth, about how a coalition of lawyers is changing the rules of finance to correct that. We’ll explore what we should expect from COP26 & TED's Countdown, and how social entrepreneurs' proven climate solutions can help shape a better way forward.
This conversation will last 30 minutes. Bring your questions!
