How can we help all teachers unlock the gifts and talents of Black students? How can we make sure American greats like civil rights organizer Ella Baker, and inventor George Washington Carver, are taught as part of history, science, and more? How can Black parents protect the Black genius of their kids – and transform the U.S. education system in the process?

Join us Wednesday, March 3, when we hear from Will Jackson, founder of Village of Wisdom and an Ashoka Fellow, and his colleagues Taylor Webber-Fields, Associate Director of Parent Leadership and Amber Majors, Director of Research. Building on their work with parents and teachers in Durham, North Carolina, they are now launching a clearinghouse for effective, culturally-affirming instructional strategies for Black children learning in various contexts.
