How can we build smart infrastructure that helps us adapt to a changing climate? Tune in on Wednesday, Sept. 15, to hear from Ashoka Fellow Enrique Lomnitz. Having started his work in a water-scarce area of Mexico City, Enrique and his team have installed over 20,000 systems (pipes, filters, tanks, etc.) across Mexico (15,000+ in Mexico City alone) that allow households to harvest rainwater - collectively about a billion liters of water every year.
At a moment when many of us are dealing with more extreme weather – drought, floods, fires, earthquakes – and failing infrastructure, we'll tap Enrique for insights on how best to prepare and adapt, and the power of decentralization and diversification.
The conversation will be about 30 minutes. Bring your questions!
