In honor of International Women’s Month, join the Women’s Initiative for Social Entrepreneurship on March 14th at 4pm EET for a ChangemakHER Chat between Ashoka Young Changemaker Manat Kaur and Ashoka Fellow Paramita Banerjee. In this intergenerational conversation moderated by Next Now Gender Field Leader Zeynep Meydanoglu, Manat and Paramita will explore their shared experiences as women changemakers empowering women and girls.
Meet the Panelists
Manat Kaur is the 18-year-old Founder of Object, a nonprofit promoting confidence in young girls by connecting them with women role models through storytelling. Object hosts monthly workshops with women speakers across a variety of disciplines—CEOs, authors, doctors, Olympians, etc.—who share their stories, lead an activity, and mingle with girls over food. Manat is also an Ashoka Young Changemaker. She enjoys journalism and has written 50+ articles for Sports Illustrated Kids, Scholastic News Kids, the Los Angeles Times, and the Stanford Daily.
