Sue Riddlestone is Chief Executive of Bioregional, and a Skoll, Schwab and Ashoka award-winning social entrepreneur. Sue co-founded Bioregional in 1994, who initiated BedZED, the first eco-village in London. 

Sue was actively involved in creating the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and part of the team that succeeded in securing text and targets for the SDGs, particularly for Goal 12. Sue is a founding board member of Catalyst 2030 and chairs the work to foster partnerships with governments and recognition of social entrepreneurs at the UN and national level. 

In 2013, Sue was awarded, an OBE, for her work on sustainable business and the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. 

Bea Harrison is a student based in London. She has been with Teach The Future (TtF) since October 2020. TtF is a UK-wide, youth-led organization who campaign for climate action, education and justice. Bea has always had some sort of interest in the environment and social justice, but as she grew older, she felt helpless and suffered from climate anxiety. TtF has helped Bea to be able to make a difference and she loves being part of such an inspirational community. Bea’s dream career would be a neuroscientist, however, she feels there is no use in her aspiring to this if her future and that of the planet is not saved.  

Denis Fernando is a climate campaigner at Friends of the Earth (FoE), an environmental campaigning community dedicated to the wellbeing and protection of the natural world and everyone in it. Denis has coordinated the ‘Emergency Plan on Green Jobs For Young People’ report, which outlines how green jobs can be created quickly across the UK and the scale of funding needed for such a transition. Denis has also worked on plastic pollution and, before working at FoE, he was an anti-racist campaigner and social justice activist.  

Pip Wheaton is the Co-Lead of NextNow Planet & Climate and joined the team at Ashoka in 2016, where she leads Ashoka’s work in finding patterns and frontiers of innovation that show a way to a better future by weaving a community of innovators committed to building it, and share our findings and insights with the world. Pip is an Ashoka Fellow, and was a Skoll scholar and WEF Global Shaper in Johannesburg.
