This event is part of a series of roundtables where our fellows in each field get the chance to exchange insights and updates of the sector; discuss areas of improvement, networking and collaboration; and support us in finding real social innovators to add to the Ashoka family.

In this roundtable around Gender and Women Empowerment, Ashoka Arab World fellows will be discussing the following points:

-The problems of the sector and the challenges facing them in particular.

-The development/milestones of the field in in represented Arab countries during the past 5-10 years.

-The references or "big names" in the sector. 

-Ideas and suggestions on the way(s) to move forward.
