here are 50 million people with dementia around the world, nearly half of which live in the Asia Pacific region. Indonesia-based Ashoka Fellow DY Suharya experienced first hand the total lack of social support for patients with dementia and their families when her mother was diagnosed. She founded ALZI to pioneer a cross-generations movement to improve the quality of life of people with dementia and their caregivers.
Join us on September 22 to hear from DY about how she is creating the first generation of institutions, practices, and values that are shaping Indonesia’s public-health response.
The conversation will be about 30 minutes. Bring your questions!
