Are you spiritually grounded and making a difference in your community? Does your faith inspire you to build a better world? We created this tool to amplify your story, support you in growing your impact, and connect you with other changemakers who live and practice their spirituality as love and respect in action for the good of all!

Submit a short video (in any language) or write your story (in English) that tells more about the change you are creating and how it relates to your spirituality or faith.

The deadline to submit your story is March 15!

After submitting your story you will be able to interact with other Spiritual Changemakers and will receive invitations to our upcoming public offerings. Get recognized and join us at Soularize! This May, we will gather with selected spiritual and faith-inspired social entrepreneurs, spiritual innovators, and changemakers for three days in Orange, California (USA) to learn and build a foundation for collaboration.

Fast-track to the Spiritual Changemakers Community

By adding your story to the Story Mosaic you might be invited to participate in our online program for spiritually-diverse changemakers who want to learn, collaborate, and continue to grow their impact.

Participating is simple

Just submit a short story that includes three things:

A brief description of how you are addressing the spiritual, social, or environmental challenges that matter to you
A mention of how your spirituality or faith supports/shapes your changemaking journey, and vice versa
A memory or experience that exemplifies what it means for you to be a Spiritual Changemaker

The limit for written stories is 3,500 characters. We prefer videos to be 2 minutes or less.

Be inspired by the stories on the Story Mosaic

Many have shared what it means to be a Spiritual Changemaker! After you create an account by clicking on the button that says "View Challenge Details" on the Story Mosaic, you will be able to read, watch, and comment on the beautiful stories from your peers.

Once logged into your account, the same button that says "View Challenge Details" will say "Add Story" and there you will be able to add yours to the Story Mosaic!

Stories at the intersection of spirituality and changemaking

The Story Mosaic is part of Ashoka's Spiritual Changemakers Initiative, a spiritually diverse network of changemakers who create a world that's grounded in empathy, equity, and changemaking. Through the Story Mosaic we hope to learn how your faith or spirituality adds value to your life as a changemaker.

Perhaps it has to do with celebration, grief, grounding, rebirth, vulnerability, prayer, or meditation.
Maybe you are inspired by your faith to take positive action in the world
Or you ground yourself in spiritual practices to accompany your changemaking
Or you have been inspired by how your place of worship is ground zero for community organizing
It may be that working in the social impact space helped you discover your spiritual calling
Or volunteering helps you put your faith into action

Whatever being a Spiritual Changemaker means to you, turn it into a story and participate in the Story Mosaic!
