Eidi Cruz-Valdivieso is the Executive Director of Ashoka U, Ashoka's global network of higher education institutions, which brings together colleges and universities to co-create the role of higher education in society as a major driver of social impact. Through her global role Eidi collaborates with Ashoka U Changemaker Campuses, including Canadian campuses, since she joined Ashoka in 2022. 

With over 25 years of experience in community-driven development and social innovation, Eidi brings a deep understanding of how individuals, communities, and institutions can drive meaningful social change. She spent more than 15 years working alongside underserved communities in Mexico, supporting community-led initiatives and approaches to social transformation. Her professional experience also includes research and consulting at the London School of Economics and leadership of an international initiative recognizing and awarding social innovators from more than 70 countries. Eidi holds a degree in Psychology from Universidad Iberoamericana, a master's degree in Organizational and Social Psychology from the London School of Economics, and a master's degree in Social Innovation from the University of Cambridge. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in the United Kingdom and lives in Washington D.C.
