ENSURING EQUALITY

While a lot of progress has been made in sexual and gender equality around the world, many challenges remain.  In at least 71 countries – more than a third of the world’s nations – discriminatory laws criminalize consensual same-sex relationships, exposing millions of individuals to the risk of arrest, prosecution, imprisonment – and even the death penalty.
