Ashoka Africa Highlights Report 2021
We are proud to share some highlights of Ashoka's work in Africa in 2021, where we relate the resilience, innovation, and positivity of our community, in particular our co-creators - the Ashoka Fellows, the inspiring young changemakers, our partners and closest ecosystem collaborators.
Our 3 Pillars of Action as a Road Map to Changemaking
To help us achieve our goals, we continuously adjust our strategy to create an inclusive environment that creates lasting social change. Here are the 3 pillars that we use to guide our strategy:
- Spot, select and support leading social entrepreneurs to drive positive change at scale (Ashoka Fellows)
- Ensure that young people grow up developing changemaker skills (Children and Youth/ Young Changemakers)
- Build a strong ecosystem for social entrepreneurship and changemaking collaborating with key players across sectors (Partnerships)
This report aims to be a reflection on our work, narrating our activities, their outcomes, and the overall impact of Ashoka in Africa as we grow the Everyone a Changemaker movement.
