Lillian Moremi has over ten years of experience in driving the youth development agenda, specifically focusing on youth leadership and promoting youth employment services in Africa preparing young people for the labour market and access to sustainable jobs. Founder of Botswana Student Network, and currently Learning and Development Consultant at Career Coaching, a social enterprise she founded in 2013 to promote skills development and productivity in the workplace. Her work involves helping organisations successfully transition graduates from school to the world of work. Lillian is Girls 4 Girls Botswana Country Team Leader, a mentorship network empowering women to lead; moderator of YouMatch (GIZ), a global network of experts in employment services, member of International Association of Facilitators (IAF) and YALI Alumni (Young African Leaders Initiative). In 2020/ 2021, Lillian participated in British Council New Narratives Programme, to help contribute to changing reciprocal perceptions between Africa and the UK in order to stimulate new understanding which unlocks new connections and collaborations for mutual benefit; British Council Botswana on the training and skills development of 200 social entrepreneurs in Botswana, U.S. Embassy Botswana on the training of women in entrepreneurship in addition to the public and private sector partnerships promoting youth employment and entrepreneurship development in Botswana. As part of her continuous community outreach, Lillian enjoys giving career and professional development advice to students, job seekers and professionals during her spare time.

Dr Evans Duah bagged his doctorate in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship in 2020. He started off from the banking sector before he moved to academia. He is currently with AAMUSTED ( Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development), formerly UEW-K, as a permanent lecturer with the Management Department.

Ama has over 14 years’ experience in Human Resources Development and is the CEO of Ama Duncan Consulting through which she consults for businesses and has trained over 2000 professionals. She conducts one-on-one and group coaching for women-led businesses and has also created online courses. Other projects she has facilitated include the Women’s Leadership Development Program organised by the Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Center (KAIPTC), EU-Ghana Circular Economy Conference and GIZ/British Council Jobs For Youth Project. Ama was also the team leader for the curriculum review of the NBU (No Business As Usual) Hub Youth Entrepreneurship and Employability Program. In 2015, Ama founded The Fabulous Woman Network (The FWN) where she conducts activities which help African women in business plan, execute and achieve their goals. Through The FWN, she has organised entrepreneurial development events for over 5000 women and shared life-changing stories of over 200 fabulous women reaching over 10,000,000 people on social media. In 2019, she created Fub Hub Ashanti – a shared office and event space for women in business - which has trained over 300 women including entrepreneurs under the National Entrepreneurship Innovation Program. She coaches and mentors women and youth, speaks on radio, television and in conferences including CAMFED-Mastercard Foundation Tertiary Scholars Graduation, Science Forum South Africa and National Treasure Conference, Dubai. Ama is the author of Yarns of inspiration I, Yarns of inspiration II and Networking Made Easy, an Access Bank W Ambassador and a 2017 Mandela Washington Fellow. With a Masters in Business Administration from Paris Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Ghana, Ama Duncan is committed to working towards an Africa in which women in business are empowered to create wealth and impact people. She lives in Kumasi with her husband and two children.

Meekness Lunga-Ayidu is the Science and Higher Education Programme Manager at the British Council in South Africa. In her role, she supports Higher Education engagement, collaborations, and partnerships between South Africa and the UK. In addition, she provides technical support in the delivery of British Council’s Regional Flagship Higher Education programme, the Innovation for African Universities (IAU) delivered across four countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and the UK. Meekness sits on the Universities’ South Africa- Higher Education Leadership and Management (HELM) Advisory Board. She is a member of the South Africa Senior Leadership Team at the British Council and a representative of Sub-Saharan Africa region in various Global Science and Higher Education working groups. She is passionate about youth development and has been actively engaged in the development sector, particularly in Higher Education for over 9 years. Prior to joining the British Council, Meekness was the Assistant Head of Programme at the Rural Education Access Programme (REAP). In this role, she was responsible for leading specific components of the national student support and development programme working across 16 universities in South Africa. She holds a Master of Philosophy (MPHil) degree in Programme Evaluation from the University of Cape Town and her research interests are currently focussed on the leveraging M&E principles and tools to inform learning and improvements in International Higher Education programmes.
