Hoodstock chosen as Dynamo’s Social Hackathon 5 winning projects
On November 22, 23 and 24, Dynamo’s first Social Hackathon was held. The event, imagined and organized by Dynamo, with the participation of Centraide of Greater Montreal, the Bureau d’intégration des nouveaucrines à Montréal (BINAM), the Mirella Foundation and Lino Saputo and its partners, aimed to imagine, design and prototype tools and services that will help make Greater Montreal an even more inclusive community for people with an immigrant background and ethnocultural minorities. After two days of intense work and support during the final, 5 teams, out of the 17 registered, emerged winners. They each won a cash prize of $ 2 000, a scholarship of $ 5 000 in addition to the support of 6 months by the House of Social Innovation and Dynamo, for the development of projects.
