Ana Bella Estevez is an Ashoka fellow empowering victims of domestic violence in Spain and Latin America. Having experienced domestic abuse in her own life, Ana Bella recognized the importance of peer support networks for survivors of domestic abuse and has so far reached over 1,200 women. She continues to grow that number and work with the community to transform the way society views survivors of domestic violence.
Changemakers like Ana Bella are helping address social challenges through innovative approaches that aim to change the way systems operate. They promote change globally by focusing on the root of social problems and empowering communities to transform for the better. Ashoka’s Invest in Innovation platform is an opportunity for you to become part of that by helping Ashoka support gifted innovators like Ana Bella.
On Valentine’s day, a day many pause to reflect and offer generosity and love as well as solidarity with survivors of domenstic violence through the V-Day movement; take a moment to give to others across the globe by giving a gift card to a loved in support of an Ashoka fellow who is working to change the world for the better, every day. As a thank you, we will send you a book by Beverley Schwartz, Vice President at Ashoka - Rippling: How Social Entrepreneurs Spread Innovation Throughout the World if you pledge $50 in support of a fellow. A rare type of book, it shares the stories of game changers like Ana Bella who have stepped into their creative agency to take on some of the world’s most pressing problems.
