Changemakers and innovators working at the intersection of business and society will gather at the Net Impact Conference being held in Baltimore, MD later this week—from October 25-27. There will be more than 100 sessions, panels, workshops, and debates about a variety of topics, including corporate impact, clean energy, finance and investing, and urban revitalization.

For those most interested in social innovation, Ashoka staff will be at the Net Impact Expo on Friday, October 26, and Saturday, October 27.

We talk a lot about social entrepreneurship, but if you stop by our booth on Friday from 10:45 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. you will likely hear the words “social intrapreneurship” more than once. While social entrepreneurship is about using business principles to solve pressing social problems, social intrapreneurship is about finding fixes to broken systems from within corporations. Intrigued? Come say hi! We'd love to chat with you about ways we can work together to build an Everyone a Changemaker™ world.

And on Saturday, from 3:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Ashoka's VP of Global Marketing, Beverly Schwartz, will be speaking about “The Power of Public Perception in Creating Mindshift” as part of a panel discussion on creating lasting social change. She will also host a lunch table discussion and do another round of “Rippling” book signings from 2:50 p.m. to 3:10 p.m.

If you can’t make it in person, Ashoka will have you covered with live tweets. Just follow us at @Ashoka on Twitter; we will be using the conference hashtag #ni12. Don't miss it.
