The Changemaker Effect in Society
Henry De Sio Jr., Global Chair for Framework Change of Ashoka, talks about "The Changemaker Effect," a term he coined to describe the rising engagement and involvement of citizens, coupled with dynamic technological advancements and the democratization of leadership, as the key driver of explosive social change and how it is accelerating the transition to a world characterized by change.
Moving from a one-leader-at-a-time system to an everyone-leads-in-every-moment system. When people are to free to lead and step into their bigness, they can work fluidly across an organization around old silos to solve problems and pursue new opportunities. This causes change to accelerate: the "changemaker effect."
