Selekcja sesji Ashoka Changemaker Summit to tortura – jest tyle ważnych tematów i fascynujących mówczyń i mówców. Niektóre moje wybory pokrywają się w czasie, ale cóż – będę musiała zadecydować… Nie szukałam wydarzeń w określonych tematach, ale jakoś dużo wyszło o młodych ludziach i o edukacji. Znalazła się też przyroda i trochę polityki społecznej. Oraz sesja inspiracji w ramach Changemakers United – liczę na potężny zastrzyk energii i kreatywności. Polecam wszystkie te spotkania i pewnie jeszcze z dziesięć innych, na które po prostu nie wystarczy mi czasu. To bardzo piękna katastrofa ?

Śmierć i godność. Niezwykła sesja o tematach tabu, w której weźmie udział Paweł Grabowski – Ashoka Fellow 2019. Nie przegapiłabym tego za skarby świata – Paweł jest niezwykłym mówcą i mówi rzeczy, o których się nie rozmawia, chociaż taka rozmowa bardzo byłaby pożyteczna. Bardzo też chcę posłuchać Claudii Ravaldi – jej praca jest dla mnie szczególnie ważna w kontekście wydarzeń związanych z wyrokiem polskiego Trybunału Konstytucyjnego. (Po)ważna sesja.

Na tej sesji mnie pewnie nie będzie (bo będę na tej powyżej), ale gdybym mogła z pewnością bym do niej dołączyła. Marzy mi się changemaker city-region w Polsce (mam nawet pomysły gdzie!). Polecam samorządowcom i osobom zaangażowanym w partnerstwa lokalne - chyba da się (a przynajmniej ci z Manchesteru uważają, że się da).

No cóż na tej sesji będę, jako speaker, ale nie tylko dlatego wezmę w niej udział. Uważam, że to ważny temat. Nawet kluczowy. W końcu takie będą Rzeczpospolite, jakie młodzieży chowanie… Bardzo chciałabym żeby uniwersytety kształciły aktywnych, zaangażowanych obywateli i obywatelki, którym zależy a wspólnym dobru. Co możemy zrobić, żeby zbliżyć się do takiego stanu?

Accelerating Changemaking in Higher Education - Reaching Millions of Young Adults
University years are crucial for young persons’ future path: will they be cogs in corporate machines or will they believe in their power to change the world for the good of all? Higher education institutions can realise their social responsibility mission by giving young people first-hand experience of being changemakers. In Europe alone, there are 20M of students who study in some 3000 higher education institutions. How can we build a critical mass of co-creators in the HEI community to strive together towards EACH world? This session will explore the experience of Ashoka and its university partners in different areas of the world in accelerating changemaking.
