What’s stopping us from applying the principles of open source to educational materials? As those materials went digital, this opened up a lot of possibilities because the speed at which you could revise and update and tailor materials had been transformed. So Wiley created the first open source license for educational materials that fundamentally shifted who "owned" the content. The result: much less expensive educational materials that can be tailored to the needs of individual teachers and students.
