Ashoka Fellow Ramya Venkataraman Honored as One of the "Women Transforming India"
Ashoka Fellow Ramya Venkataraman has been selected as one of the 100 "Women Transforming India" by NITI Aayog, a council of India’s top government leaders, and the United Nations. The theme of this year's Women Transforming India Awards is "women and entrepreneurship." The award recognizes women entrepreneurs who are challenging the status quo and breaking stereotypes through businesses and enterprises that are providing innovative developmental solutions to build a dynamic new India.
