Mubuso Zamchiya

Mubuso is Ashoka’s Director of Global Partnerships. He has previously worked in a variety of sectors, including education and development, the power industry, and retail and commercial banking, including work with world-class organizations like the International Finance Corporation (“IFC”), AES Corporation, and Barclays Bank. He is the founder of the BOOST Fellowship, a youth entrepreneurship and life preparation initiative in Zimbabwe, and a member of the International Advisory Board of the Global Youth Innovation Network.  Mubuso is a recipient of the Archbishop Tutu Fellowship and the Echoing Green Fellowship, for leadership and entrepreneurship. He is also a Fellow of the Pahara-Aspen Education Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. He earned a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) and a Master of Laws in commercial and international law at Bristol University, and also read for a Master of Philosophy in Development Studies at Oxford University, as a Rhodes Scholar.
