Changemakers Knowledge Manager
Megan Strickland has over five years of experience in the social enterprise sector as a part of the start up team at three different social enterprises, and as a researcher and consultant. She's passionate about leveraging the capabilities of social entrepreneurship to transform the systems of power and oppression that create and sustain poverty and inequality. Prior to joining Ashoka, Megan was a part of the early leadership team for Inyenyeri, a start up social enterprise in Gisenyi, Rwanda that uses a unique business model to sustainably deliver clean cooking technologies to poor families. Megan graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor's in Public Policy and a focus on social entrepreneurship.
