Country Representative, Israel
Eitan Joined Ashoka Israel as an Intern in 2010, while studying for his degree in Philosophy and Poli-Sci in the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He ran the Venture program for 2 years, and then left to help establishing the Program for arts in the community: art for social change in the Shenkar College of engineering and design. He returned to Ashoka in 2016 and he is now positioned as the country director. Eitan was born in Jerusalem and lived there most of his life, apart from a year and a half in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where he was involved in a few social activities, including the foundation and management of an afternoon school for street kids. Being always a strong Soccer aficionado, Eitan was one of the founders of Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem F.C., Israel's first fan owned soccer club, where he is presently sitting as head of the fans’ assembly, when not waving flags and cheering in the stadium.
