Education Entrepreneur in Residence - Ashoka UK
Anna joined Ashoka in October 2016 after six years of teaching in both primary and secondary schools in the U.K. and Italy. She became interested in outdoor learning after a year spent managing an Education programme in the Ecuadorian Amazon where she researched and published a text book with the Ministry of Education. She trained with Teach First in 2009 and later worked to combine Science teaching with farming in central London. She has an MSc in Social Anthropology with Learning and Cognition from the London School of Economics and, although no longer teaching, remains passionate about giving young people the opportunity to learn about themselves, the environment and sustainability through adventure, farming and good fun.
