Since 2014, Ashoka has elected four Tunisia Fellows working in fields such as social entrepreneurship, environment, and civic participation. Our Fellows in Tunisia are utilising social entrepreneurship to build a vibrant social sector in the North African country. In 2016, Tunisia served as a gathering point for Ashoka to bring together young social entrepreneurs and changemakers to discuss how social entrepreneurship solves current pressing issues in the Arab World. Ashoka Arab World aims to keep this dialogue ongoing through identifying and electing more role models, and connecting them to our regional and global network of peers and partners.

Ashoka’s presence in Tunisia is facilitated by Ashoka Arab World, Ashoka’s regional office based out of Cairo.
