Ashoka Hungary Research Program kicked off

About the program

Ashoka, in collaboration with the Science Shop and researchers at Corvinus University of Budapest, launched a 12-month research project in January 2022 to address relevant issues affecting social enterprises.

Stages of the program

1. As a first step, we explore the lack of research data based on the opinion of researchers familiar with the sector and according to the relevant literature.

2. After collecting researcher’s answers and compiling literature review, stakeholders of Hungarian social enterprises are asked within a questionnaire to select the two most relevant topics to be researched.

3. These two topics will be examined by smaller research groups in the framework of 6-month mini-researches between 2022 March and September.

4. Short, user-friendly summaries of the completed research materials will be made and widely shared within the ecosystem of social enterprises.
