Ashoka Visionary Program

After reaching over 150 participants in 30 countries in Central and Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean, the Ashoka Visionary Program is arriving in Partnership with CARE, supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and PWC, in East Africa starting May 2020!

The Ashoka Visionary Program is a part-time executive program for decision-makers in the private and the public sector dealing with social innovations as well as social entrepreneurs. It enables participants to gain the skills needed to master both entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial challenges, to generate social impact and access to a global community of changemakers.

The program is designed for social entrepreneurs, managers of non-profit organizations and NGOs, managers in the philanthropic and public sectors, business people from all over the world.

Structure and Content

Module 1: Social Entrepeneurship & Innovation (Nairobi)

Develop a new way of seeing opportunities for system changing ideas, social innovations, and collaborations in the market of social entrepreneurship.

Module 2: Impact & Social Business Modeling (Dar-Es-Salam)

Interact with our network and learn from years of experience in applying an impact model and impact-oriented business plan.

Module 3: Funding & Scaling Social Innovation (Dar-Es-Salaam)

Developing ways to scale and maximize social impact; under- standing financing approaches to increase readiness and to attract funding and financing.

Module 4: Managing Talents & New Organizations (Nairobi)

24-26.9.2020

Managing organizations; scouting for, attracting, recruiting, managing and rewarding the best talents.
