By providing pro bono legal services to Ashoka Fellows, Latham & Watkins LLP takes an active role in Ashoka communities and makes public interest issues an integral part of their practice of law. Latham & Watkins is an international company that comprises of more than 2,200 lawyers situated in 13 countries.

With a deep and longstanding commitment that has expanded and evolved as the firm has grown globally, Hogan Lovells has been a pioneer in the provision of pro bono legal services to those in need. We were the first law firm – in 1970 – to establish a legal practice devoted entirely to pro bono. Our practice draws on the experience of our professionals worldwide to improve the lives of those most in need and least able to pay. Nikki Gravning
Country Co-Director, Ashoka UK & Ireland
Nikki Gravning is Country Director of Ashoka UK with a core focus on partnerships to embed radical collaboration and changemaking for a better world into the corporate landscape. Before joining Ashoka, Nikki successfully led the Social Innovation Strategy for New Zealand’s National Innovation Agency to change the funding landscape for social entrepreneurs in the country. She has mentored social enterprises in accelerator programs and helped raise $2 million for New Zealand’s largest social enterprise in 2017. She is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper Alumni and a Centre for Sustainability Leadership Fellow from her days in Sydney, Australia.
Anu Bhatnagar
Partnerships and Support Network Manager, Ashoka UK & Ireland
Anu is a Partnerships & ASN Manager at Ashoka UK & Ireland, catalysing and managing funding and strategic relationships with organisations that support Ashoka’s vision. Anu is a former stockbroker at Morgan Stanley, with several years of experience in sales and relationship management. She is also an On Purpose Fellow with experience and interest in social and impact investment. Her change in career was sparked by experiences with purpose-driven organisations, fighting food waste with FoodCycle, and supporting the opening of the world's first Partition Museum in India.
Richard Johnson
Challenge and Partnership Manager, Ashoka UK & Ireland
Richard Johnson is a Challenge & Partnership Manager at Ashoka, working across the Changemakers and Ashoka UK teams. His work focuses you connecting corporates and social entrepreneurs to create lasting solutions to social and environmental problems. He formerly worked at the think-tank and consultancy Volans, researching and advising on business model innovation and the link between sustainability and entrepreneurship. He advised the corporate members of the UN Global Compact, the UK Government’s Innovation agency and a raft of sustainable startups. In 2015 he worked on launching the B Corp certification in the UK, building the community of the first 50 British B Corps. His thoughts on sustainable business have been published in Fast Company magazine and The Guardian.
Laura White
Children and Youth Years Manager, Ashoka UK & Ireland
Laura White is the Children and Youth Years Manager at Ashoka UK and Ireland. Previously, Laura launched the US Ashoka Changemaker Schools Network, taught early childhood education at a Changemaker School in Washington, DC, and was the Director of Operations at an early childhood education social enterprise. She holds a master's degree in early childhood special education and an MBA. Laura still loves volunteering with early years students.
Veronica Glab
Partnerships & Challenge Community Manager, Ashoka UK & Ireland
Veronica is the Partnerships & Challenge Community Manager, Ashoka UK & Ireland She is currently working on the Green Skills Challenge with HSBC and the Changemaker Company program with Chanel, as well as strategising Ashoka's approach to its Support Network. She speaks fluent Spanish and Polish and has served as an interpreter for grassroots women's delegations to the United Nations. Veronica is involved in the German Marshall Fund Young Professionals Forum and the Polish Institute of Arts & Sciences in NY. She loves dogs, is a frequent cook, and she has never missed a flight (although she's had many close calls).
