Two Ashoka Fellows Honored with the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship

The Skoll Foundation, renowned for celebrating social entrepreneurship and innovation, has selected six groundbreaking innovators from across the world as winners of the prestigious Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship, and they include two Ashoka Fellows: Jennifer Pahlka, founder of Code for America, and Harish Hande, founder of SELCO.

Ashoka Business cases social & business Co-Creation

This series of 5 business cases entails finalists and winners of the 2014 Social & Business Co-Creation: Collaboration for Impact competition organized by Ashoka and its partners, the Zermatt Summit Foundation, Guilé Foundation, DPD and Boerhinger Ingelheim. The aim of the competition was to identify pioneers in the field of Social and Business Co-Creation in Europe. 338 projects from 34 European countries participated in this competition, 15 finalists were selected and 5 winners were awarded a prize.

ASN MEMBER AND ASHOKA FELLOW TEAM UP FOR GIRL TECH

Due to their shared dedication to empowering young women, German ASN member Reinhard Gorenflos and Ashoka Fellow Regina Agyare were introduced through the Ashoka Globalizer Summit on Youth Empowerment in Africa in February 2015. Reinhard founded Tua Res Foundation in 2012 and Regina founded Soronko Solutions in 2011, through which she launched a program called Tech Needs Girls.
