    Dr. Firman Lubis, a social innovator, public health expert and long-time friend of Ashoka, passed away last month in Jakarta, Indonesia. He was 66 years old.

Her methodology fosters good relationships between inmates and prison workers, reduces recidivism, helps offenders reintegrate into their families and the labor market, and improves the human rights situation.

Sylvio's project is now being implemented in thirteen of the sixteen prisons in Rio de Janeiro.
