Claudia joined Ashoka Philippines as program associate in the beginning of 2014, when she took an interest in social innovation. Before this, she was with MAKNA or Majlis Kanser Nasional (National Cancer Council Malaysia) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She served in their International Division from 2011-2013, helping them start initiatives in Vietnam and Singapore. In her undergraduate student days, she was an active leader in AIESEC, the world's largest student-run organization, and the President of the UP Children's Rights Advocates League. In 2011, She attained her bachelor's degree in Anthropology in the University of the Philippines Diliman, where she strengthened her appreciation for social research and cultural diversity, living with indigenous communities. She recently co-founded EthnoStrat, a start-up consultancy company that uses social research and applied anthropology in offering new perspectives and creative solutions to their clientele.
