About the Online Summit: Changemakers from across Europe come together to explore innovative solutions to the Covid-19 crisis.
Our keynote speaker: Mr. Kailash Satyarthi, recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize alongside Malala Yousafzai in 2014. Being an Ashoka Fellow and activist for children’s rights and education, we are humbled to listen to him as our keynote speaker.
What is Changemakers United? A collective effort to support social innovators at the forefront of the Covid-19 crisis launched by Ashoka and our founding partner Zalando.

10-10:45 AM CET | Welcome plenary: Welcome and Meet the Social Entrepreneurs with systemic solutions to the Covid-19 crisis.
11-12 AM CET | Parallel roundtable discussions:

• Session 1: Returning to the past or transforming our learning ecosystems? A conversation with Ashoka Fellows Emer Beamer, Jen Lexmond, Massimo Vallati and Thorsten Kiefer.
• Session 2: No one left behind for lack of direct healthcare or equipment. A conversation with Ashoka Fellows Carmen Pellicer, Caroline Kant, David Cuartielles, Dorica Dan and Krystian Fikert.
• Session 3: Vulnerable groups: a priority in our response to the pandemic. A conversation with Ashoka Fellows Ana Bella Estévez, Jèrèmy Lachal, Lone Koldby, Ole Kassow and Volker Baisch.
• Session 4: Approaches to reliable information in times of Covid-19. A conversation with Ashoka Fellows Mehmet Atakan Foça, Mike Feerick, Walburga Fröhlich & Klaus Candussi.
• Session 5: Why political and economic responses to the crisis must empower citizens. A conversation with Ashoka Fellows Alberto Alemanno, Radek Hábl and Pablo Santaeufemia.
