Clinton Global Initiative 2009
On the morning of September 23 Bill Clinton, Bill Drayton, and Rex Tillerson announced at CGI a commitment between Ashoka, Exxon, and ICRW to empower women. Read more about this new partnership here.
The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) was established to turn ideas into action and to help our world move beyond the current state of globalization to a more integrated global community of shared benefits, responsibilities, and values. By gathering world leaders from a variety of backgrounds, CGI creates a unique opportunity to channel the capacities of individuals and organizations to realize change.
Ashoka has more than 30 staff and Fellows at CGI this year. You can see exclusive interviews by subscribing to our YouTube channel and stay up-to-date on what is happening live at CGI by watching this page and following Ashoka on Twitter or joining our facebook group.
