Ashoka has elected Uruguayan Ashoka Fellows into the Ashoka Global Fellowship since 1994, and currently elects one to two new Ashoka Fellows annually. The Uruguay program is managed from Ashoka's Southern Cone sub-regional office in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
