Ashoka is fostering a community of like-minded business and social
entrepreneurs from all countries and sectors who are eager to advance
this new way of doing business. The Hybrid Value Chain model continues
to spread beyond our initial implementation pilots and has been adopted
on almost every continent in a wide variety of industries.
Each year Ashoka supports a growing number of social entrepreneurs implementing HVCs through a graduate student internship program. Graduate students from leading American universities spend 10 weeks with social entrepreneurs around the world, providing business acumen in areas such as business strategy, marketing, finance, and business development.

Ashoka invites HVC pioneers from all sectors to contact us to collaborate in the development of methods to transform markets to achieve social impact. In addition to the community of businesses and citizen sector organizations (CSOs), we look for professionals to provide pro bono assistance to CSOs designing and implementing HVCs and graduate students with business and social experience to participate in the volunteer consultancy program. FEC also welcomes the submission of resources for potential inclusion in our HVC resource library.
