Getting to Ashoka


By Metro:
Orange/Blue Line (Rosslyn Metro station). Ashoka is located in the Rosslyn Center building at 1700 North Moore Street in Arlington, VA just atop the Rosslyn Metro station. Ashoka is in suite 2000 on the 20th floor.

From Capitol Area to Ashoka

  • Start out going East on PENNSYLVANIA AVE NW toward CONSTITUTION AVE NW.
  • Turn LEFT onto 3RD ST NW.
  • Merge onto I-395 S.
  • Merge onto JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY/ VA-110 N via exit number 9A toward I-66 W/ ROSSLYN. 
  • Turn SLIGHT LEFT to take the WILSON BLVD ramp toward ROSSLYN.
  • Stay straight to go onto WILSON BLVD.
  • Turn LEFT onto N MOORE ST.

From Reagan National Airport to Ashoka

  • Stay straight to go onto AIRPORT EXIT.
  • Take the ramp toward GW PARKWAY NORTH.
  • Stay straight to go onto AIRPORT EXIT.
  • Merge onto GEORGE WASHINGTON MEMORIAL PKWY N.
  • Merge onto I-395 S toward I-66 W/ RICHMOND.
  • Merge onto JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY/ VA-110 N via exit number 9A toward I-66 W/ ROSSLYN.
  • Turn SLIGHT LEFT to take the WILSON BLVD ramp toward ROSSLYN.
  • Stay straight to go onto WILSON BLVD.
  • Turn LEFT onto N MOORE ST.
From Dulles Airport to Ashoka
  • Start out going West on SAARINEN CIR toward DULLES AIRPORT ACCESS RD.
  • Stay straight to go onto DULLES AIRPORT ACCESS RD.
  • Merge onto VA-267 E.
  • VA-267 E becomes I-66 E. 5.13 miles
  • Take the US-29/ LEE HWY exit- exit number 72- toward SPOUT RUN PKWY.
  • Turn LEFT onto LEE HWY/ US-29 S.
  • Make a U-TURN at N KENMORE ST onto LEE HWY/ US-29 N.
  • Turn RIGHT onto N MOORE ST.

From BWI to Ashoka

  • Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto DEPARTURES/ FRIENDSHIP RD.
  • Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto AIRPORT EXIT. 0.26 miles
  • Take I-195 W.
  • Merge onto MD-295 S via exit number 2B toward WASHINGTON.
  • Take the exit toward WASHINGTON.
  • Merge onto US-50 W/ NEW YORK AVE NE.
  • Take I-395 S toward TUNNEL.
  • Merge onto JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY/ VA-110 N via exit number 9A toward I-66 W/ ROSSLYN.
  • Turn SLIGHT LEFT to take the WILSON BLVD ramp toward ROSSLYN.
  • Stay straight to go onto WILSON BLVD.
  • Turn LEFT onto N MOORE ST.

From BWI to Ashoka via public transportation

  • MARC Train (Maryland's train system) from BWI Rail Station (shared with Amtrak) to New Carrollton.
  • METRO - orange line - from New Carrollton to Rosslyn.
  • You will need to catch a short shuttle from BWI airport to get to the BWI Rail Station. There should be signs all around the baggage claim/ground transport area to put you in the right direction.
  • You'll take the MARC train's Penn Line. It should take about 25 minutes to go from BWI rail station to New Carrollton. This will cost about $4-$5 one-way.
  • Once you get to New Carrollton, you will switch to METROrail. This is the beginning/end of the Orange line, the same line that goes to Rosslyn. This will be about a 30 minute ride, and will cost about $2.20 one way.
  • Once you reach Rosslyn (the first stop in Virginia...the stop right before us is Foggy Bottom/GWU--George Washington University), our building is directly above the Metro station. Just come in the doors marked "Rosslyn Metro Center." Walk through the lobby and past the escaltors through the glass doors to the elevator bay. We are on the 20th floor.
