Vinod Khosla
Vinod Khosla is the founder and head of Khosla Ventures and formerly a partner in the leading Silicon Valley venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins. He was a co-founder of Daisy Systems and founding Chief Executive Officer of Sun Microsystems, where he pioneered open systems and commercial RISC processors, and Khosla Ventures. Vinod serves on the boards of Agami, eASIC, Indian School of Business, Infinera, Kovio, Metricstream, Spatial Photonics, Xsigo and Zettacore. A successful venture capitalist, he has turned his energies to alternative energies, social entrepreneurship, and financial tools to end poverty. He is a founder of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), a not-for-profit global network of entrepreneurs and professionals that has helped foster the birth of companies across the world.
Vinod holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
